Stunning audio system for Soho House

We supplied and installed all IT and AV equipment for the newly opened 69-bedroom Soho House hotel in Rome.

Having undertaken a similar task earlier in the year with their Paris hotel, we were well placed to deliver this large international project with complex logistical challenges. 

Multi-zone setup requirements

We installed 44 audio zones across reception areas, rooftop bars, outdoor pools, wellness centres, events spaces, gyms, workout studios, clubs, and dining spaces. We split the audio system over four rack locations due to the building’s size, Dante handled all signal management from input to output, with no analogue interconnects on site. 

Our team also installed over 90 hotel room TVs. Each had IPTV provided by RoomNet, which allows guests to watch live TV and their own Netflix, Amazon, and other streaming accounts. Guests automatically sign out of their accounts at check-out, so there is never any risk of others accessing them. 

Managed services

We managed the building-wide active networking with an Aruba HP backbone and Aruba HP wireless throughout. We installed 24 switches, two core switches, 2 SDWAN, 90 Room APs, 105 internal and 37 external access points.
