Seamless presentation systems

Greycoat, an independent real estate company with over 45 years of experience and expertise in the central London office market, recently underwent a significant office fit-out project, but this time for themselves, creating a new central London base for the company. 

Greycoat tasked us with designing an AV system for multiple rooms that would seamlessly blend into the beautiful aesthetics and interior design whilst offering the client a great meeting experience for staff and guests. 

The office is split over four floors and is occupied by Greycoat. Separate tenants are on the 1^st and 2^nd floors. Our client required two boardroom-style meeting rooms on the ground floor to be used by Greycoat Staff and other tenants and guests. 

Understand customer needs

“Early on, we discussed meeting room management for these rooms, as this part of the building was to be used by multiple tenants. Opting for the Humly Room Panels guaranteed a timeless design and a great back end for the reception team,”  Says Jack Cornish.

The premium rooms on the ground floor featured a Yealink MVC system complete with ceiling microphones and speakers for a minimal look and exceptional performance. We used Samsung Frame TVs on the 3rd and 4th floors for a chic aesthetic and technology hidden in joinery and ceiling details where possible. Smaller 4-6 people spaces featured Yealink all-in-one Android conferencing bars. 

Flexibility at the core

Due to the nature of the meetings, BYOD was featured in all meeting room spaces, allowing for a single USB-C cable to handle presentation, peripherals, and charging for the ultimate flexible solution. 

A particular challenge for this project was the ever-moving timeline due to several site delays. We retained a flexible approach and worked around challenging schedule changes to ensure the installed kit was fully operational before the project handover. 

Acoustic treatment

We have been asked to provide acoustic treatment in several meeting rooms. We can provide a wraparound acoustic treatment service by using our specialist knowledge of acoustics and room treatment and working with our close partners with Re:Felt and De Vorm.
